An Overview of the Elections Committee
The Election Committee works with Management and a third-party vendor to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Sully II elections. This includes the Annual Election of Members to the Board of Trustees to serve two-year terms and other elections that may occur. Working with the vendor, the Committee creates and implements a timeline for the election process including supplying documents and data required by the vendor for them to develop and execute an independent electronic voting process. The Committee also creates sample documents regarding upcoming elections, for Management and the vendor to communicate to Members. Some examples of these documents are: A Call for Candidate email, Candidate Application Form, Cover letters to be used by the vendor, the sample ballot, and an Eligible Voter spreadsheet.
The Election Committee meetings are held on an as-needed basis. During the Annual Meeting, members are onsite to assist voters with in-person voting and to access and announce the results of elections. After the election, the Committee is responsible for ensuring all election documents are retained in archives. 2024 Annual Meeting Information
The 2024 Annual Meeting is Thursday, September 26th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. and will be held virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link is sent out with every Friday Update email to the community. However, if you have not received it please contact On-site Management at office@sully2.com.
